The Collegiate Women Sports Awards Partners With WiSP

The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) Presented by Honda announced today an affiliated partnership with WiSP Sports effective immediately.

The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) program was founded in 1976 to recognize the accomplishments of women student-athletes in NCAA-member institutions with a variety of prestigious awards. We are proud of our history of diversity in celebrating women of all races. We stand with the black community who deserve to be heard, respected and valued equally. We continue to recognize the inherent value of all human beings and to advocate for equality and inclusivity.

Junior Jazzy Richards from the University of Oklahoma, Redshirt Senior Savannah Rennie of Cal and senior Alexandra Watson from the University of Texas are named finalists for the Honda Inspiration Award as announced by Judy Sweet, CWSA Board Member and Chair of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) Inspiration Award committee.

Hart of Kenyon College Repeats as DIII Honda Award Finalist for Swimming & Diving

Crile Hart, a junior from Kenyon College, was named the DIII Honda Athlete of the Year finalist for Swimming & Diving as announced today by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda. This is her second finalist honor as she was also named a finalist her freshman season.

The world is experiencing an unprecedented crisis. Most of America is sheltering in place and travel is prohibited to help keep ourselves and our communities healthy. While sport is usually one of those elements of society that encourages us to move forward despite all obstacles, this is clearly not the time to do so. It is a time to keep one another as safe and secure as possible by practicing responsible social distancing. The Collegiate Women Sports Awards is committed to doing just that.
